Large wired-coat dogs — Giant Schnauzers, large Wire-haired Pointing Griffons, Wire-haired Hungarian Vizslas — need hand stripping to maintain the natural qualities of their coat. Clipping a wired coat repeatedly changes its texture permanently; hand stripping keeps the coat as it should be: dense, rough, and weather-resistant.

This is a time-intensive service that we approach with patience and attention to detail. We discuss the current state of the coat with you before starting and are always transparent about what's achievable in a single session.

Your dog stays with us for free all day. Pick-up and drop-off is available for larger dogs — add it when you book.
